The cover is made of wooden plates covered with a piece of hand-embroidered reclaimed linen. The binding is made from natural rope using the cousoir technique. The headband was hand-woven directly onto the sheet block. The gold bookmark is sewn in the binding.

The sheet block contains sheets of paper handmade from recycled paper. The paper pulp contains no additives other than those originally contained in the recovered sheets. The result is a slightly embossed blotting paper. This blotting paper accepts dry techniques (pencils, ballpoint pen, collage, etc.), but shies away from wet techniques (watercolor, wash, ink, etc.).
